Slug is an American rapper. He is known for being a member of hip hop duo Atmosphere, alongside hip hop producer Ant (born Anthony Davis).
Slug is the son of Valerie Lynn (Norrgard) and Craig Arthur Daley. His father was African-American. His mother has Swedish and Norwegian ancestry.
Slug has stated:
My mother’s white and my father is black/native American. So, it makes me really light skinned. Most people think that I’m Italian or a very tall Spanish kid. Just by looking at me, you can’t really tell by my skin or my hair. But, girls always say that my features look like I’m not white.
Slug’s paternal grandparents were William Arthur Daley and Vivian A. Marie Griggs.
Slug’s maternal grandfather was Kenneth Raymond “Ken” Norrgard (the son of Andrew Abraham Norrgard and Clara E. Nelson).
