Emmy Raver-Lampman is an American actress and singer. Her roles include the films Untitled Horror Movie, Blacklight, Dog (2022), Gatlopp, and The Beekeeper, and the series The Umbrella Academy and Central Park, the latter in voice performance; as well as many stage works.
She was adopted as a newborn, by Sharon Raver-Lampman, a professor at Old Dominion University, and Greg Raver-Lampman, a writer and teacher, who has been nominated for the Pulitzer Prize. She has described herself as biracial. Her adoptive parents are white. They hyphenated their surnames together. Due to her mother’s work, she has lived in the Czech Republic, Ukraine, and India, among other countries.
Greg is the son of Clifford Erle Lampman and Marguerite R. Hardy. Clifford was born in Valley City, Barnes, North Dakota.
